Editor's Note: Less Labor

It doesn't HAVE to be that hard.

The work we put into our sport took time, energy, effort, blood, sweat, and tears. To put in that amount of work during our formative years leads many of us to believe that that level of strenuous work is necessary for success in every area of life.

But what if it’s not?

What if living the life you want to live and operating in what you are passionate about takes significantly less work than we are used to?

I remember being in relationships that always took so much from me or required a lot of work. One day, a close friend said, “Morgan, I just don’t think it should be that hard; some things shouldn’t take that much work.” In that moment, I realized how much worth I placed on overcoming the “hard” in everything, which is entirely unnecessary.

Now, being in a loving and compatible relationship and excelling in the work I’m called to do, most things are… easy. They don’t require me to overcome. Instead, I can operate in my zone of genius and attract abundance and success with ease.

On this labor day, I want you to ask yourself what you are laboring over. Is it necessary? Is it worth it?

Next, think of the things that come easily to you. What are your gifts? What can you do without overexerting yourself?

Maybe that’s what you are called to do.

Maybe that’s what the world needs from you.

Happy Labor Day!

Let today serve as a reminder that sometimes, less is more.
